This year, I’m going to be a completely different person. I’m going to be skinny, I’m going to be the girl who reads books in class and is organized, I’m going to be ‘that’ girl to guys, I’m going to have long hair, I’m going to be top in all of my classes, nothing will phase me - I will be perfect.

before i go work out, i just wanted to say that i can’t wait for the day when someone asks “have you lost weight?” and i can reply “no..” but my face is beaming. i can’t wait for the day when my thighs don’t brush each other when i walk. i can’t wait for the day when i won’t be afraid to be picked up by a guy or tossed around gently on the bed by him. i can’t wait for the day when my cheekbones, my collarbones, my hipbones, my knees…everything becomes more beautifully prominent. i can’t wait for the day when i can look in the mirror and feel content, even pleased with my reflection. i can’t wait for the day when i take off my shirt at the end of the day and don’t see lines from where my fat gathers. i can’t wait for the day when someone pinches my side and feels nothing. i can’t wait for the day that someone actually gets fucking concerned about me for once and notices that i’m not okay.short shorts, baggy sweatshirts, skinny jeans, tall heels, grungy tees, tiny dresses. this is what i want. <3
